Me and my wife are planning to sell the farm and hook up our Chevy Silverado to our rehabbed Hi/lo camper and head for the border of Mexico. We are coming from Kansas City, MO. We want to know a few things before we get there. First, what is the best border crossing to use of you have missing paperwork , or is it even possible to enter without everything? Second. Is it safe or realistic to SAFELY travel along the coast at a leisurely pace all the way down to Lake Chapala?
