Gastric upset

Hello, It seems that everytime I visit Mexico I end up with some kind of gastric disturbance. I don't use the ice, I try to be careful with cleaning and peeling my own fruits and vegetables. The restaurants are really lovely with so many choices. I hate having to be so cautious. My husband and I are planning on moving to Mexico in the next few months. any helpful experience or advice would be appreciated. I don't want to miss out on any of the wonderful food.
