Paraguay?

hi, we are looking at leaving Panama after 15 years, after much research we have narrowed our search to 3 countries, one being Paraguay the other 2 are costa rica and belize.
id very much like to know peoples experiences in paraguay, my parents are of semi retirement age and my girlfriend and myself are mid/later 20s, where ever we move we plan on setting up businesses and have extensive experience in everything from constructions and landscaping to agriculture. we understand that paraguay is landlocked and im unsure of this being and issue for us or not as we have always lived nearer the cost but rarely end up visitng the beach due to work. we all speak spanish and have lived in 2nd world countries previously. if people would like to share their experiences thatd be much aprreciated id like to know the good the bad and the ugly. note we arent to concerned about getting citizenship, residency is fine
