My wife, her Filipina friend, her husband and myself, are planning on moving from Georgia in the US to Danao, Bohol by September. She owns a piece of property with enough space to put up to 11 cottages to rent to tourist. We would also like to open a small bar and or a dive shop. I was wondering a couple of things. First, is there anyone there or that you know of who already have these businesses and are interested in selling? Secondly, what do you think the chances of a new start up business succeeding there? Lastly, would anyone be interested in investing for the short term in the construction of the cottages? Any opinions or feed back would be greatly appreciated. Hope to see you in September.
