Possible move to Qatar

Due to the state of our economy in construction here in california we are shutting down our firm and taking an overseas contrat at a senior level We are looking at Dubai Qatar and Asia. what is it like to live in Qatar? My wife and daughter will be relocating with me. the job pays great but what about schools, housing my cat things for the girls to do and how long is the wait list for my daughter she will be in second grade?
How severe is the islamic culture for women as compared to Dubai? What is rent on a Villa? how is the medical? What should i expect as far housing and benifits at a senior level.
