My girlfriend and I will be spending the summer in Kampala and are looking to rent a room. She’ll be arriving on May 27th and I’ll be arriving in mid-June. We’ll both be staying until August 12th.
Here's a brief intro into my girlfriend and I. My name is Joe, I grew up in New Jersey and currently reside in Colorado. I met my Canadian girlfriend, Lindsay, in Rwanda while I was working at the Embassy and she was taking some time to volunteer and backpack around Africa after graduating from College (though her "volunteering" seemed more like drinking glasses filled with an equal proportion of waragi and passion fruit juice). After spending a lot of time apart, over three years in fact, we’ll be spending the summer together in Uganda before settling down for a bit in Austin. Lindsay will be interning as a requirement of her graduate studies and I’ll be tagging along in the hopes of finding some sort of volunteer opportunity in Kampala. Anyway, we love good music, good books, good beer and, of course, good travels (although, bad travels are still worthwhile in that they make for great stories).
So, if you happen to have the space, we'd love rent a room and maybe share some stories.
