Living in uk

Hi everybody! I need your help!
My husband thinks to accept an job offer in Essex, UK. Now we're living in South America as expat with all the expat's benefits (house, private school and trips to home country). Now he received an offer for a local package in UK.
Basically: 115 K pounds per year (before taxes) + annual bonus + car allowance (not much) + private healthcare for family (3 children: 16, 12 and 9), + move and relocation expenses
(Not accomodation, not yearly trip to home, not private school)
We are considering public school for children (They are fully bilingual)
How is the cost of living in that area (Chelmsford, Braintree, etc) actually: rental house, car, utilities, groceries for 5, entertainment, academy, extra classes for my children (Ballet, swimming
Is that enough to have a good/high standard of living as here?
Is Essex a nice place to live in? Does it have good schools?
Please, help me!
