I am a dual citizen to Hungary and usa, I have a, 15 yr old son... I have lived a long time in the usa and last year I got my pre settled status to the uk.
I packed everything up and wedft for the uk, where I was scammed that made me lose all my money and left us homeless in the uk... I tried bounci g back but since no place I could not commit to a job... Since we went from hostel to hostel.
This forced us back to the usa.
Now that I hope I'm. More cautious and smarter I am ready to finally relocate, but I get rejected due to having a kid, who is a, teen so it's not like he is a, screaming 2 yr old.
Or I get rejected because I'm not rich esp after losing all my savings,
Agencies asking for 6 to 12 months rent prepay... Which I actually heard is illegal.... Is it?
My dilemma is that my presettled status will eventually expire you can out be out for longer than 2 yrs, so I don't have time to save up enough to cover those ridiculous demands.
I got job offers that I had to turn down because I couldn't complete the interviews since not in the uk yet.
I had a friend who wanted to help me to let us, stay at his place but than changed his mind and bailed on me.
So I'm really frustrated. I have since run I to at least 5 people who wanted to scam me.
I don't understand why this is so hard and I joined here to see if anyone can hi e me advice or anyone is maybe a, property owner or realtor or has any tips for me. I do t want to waste my money on a hotel since then that will burn up my savings.
It breaks my heart giving up so many cool jobs and I finally want to be back there.
So yes that's my story in a nutshell.
