Just wondering whether there are any expats out there in Uruguay who could tell me about their experience. Some things I’d love to know are:
1. How much does a one bedroom apartment in a city line Montevideo cost in a desirable area? Close to the beach is not necessary.
2. I am active and very much into going to green spaces to exercise. Does Montevideo offer any beautiful green spaces? Is Parque Retiro as nice as it looks in pictures?
3. Are the locals friendly? I do speak Spanish fluently, so that will help.
4 Are there plenty of vegetarian restaurants? I know they love meat.
