Hello everyone!

I'm new on the ExpatExchange, but have lived in several other countries in Europe, southeast Asia, and NZ/Australia.

My friend and I are looking to visit Uruguay later this year in 2025, between August in November, to explore the country and get a feel for it before committing to moving there. I'm a landscape designer and city planner, so would love to explore Montevideo, but have a background in camping and hiking, with a former occupation in conservation and trail planning, so am interested in checking out some natural experiences as well.
