My wife and I are finally taking the step towards residency as she has just retired. However I am concerned about the monthly costs being based on her pension amount. More than happy to pay for the fees but using the online payment calculator it looks a bit expensive. We are only there 6 months a year and are trying to keep costs down. I’d there any way to just claim the amount required for the pension residency instead of full pension? Thanks for any advice!! Robert
