Can someone please tell me what the appropriate rate for tipping is in Ecuador, especially in a restaurant and taxi? Do restaurants add in a service charge that represents the tip? Also, can anyone please tell me if U.S. coins are used in Ecuador, and how much does it usually cost to run the washers and dryers in a laundry?
