However, it's important to note that salaries in Cyprus are also generally lower than in the U.S., which could offset some of these savings. Additionally, the cost of certain services, such as internet and mobile plans, can be higher in Cyprus. Overall, if you're earning a U.S. salary while living in Ayia Napa, you're likely to save money. But if you're earning a local salary, your purchasing power may be similar to or less than what you'd have in the U.S," commented one expat who made the move to Ayia Napa, Cyprus.
