"The cost of living in Rotterdam is generally considered to be quite high. Rent prices are particularly high, with the average one-bedroom apartment costing around €1,000 per month. Groceries and other everyday items are also relatively expensive, with the cost of food and other necessities being comparable to other major cities in Europe. Transportation costs are also quite high, with public transport tickets costing around €2.50 for a single journey," remarked another expat who made the move to Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
