What are healthcare services like in Lima?
We asked retirees if they have access to good medical care in Lima. They wrote...
"Healthcare services in Lima are generally of a good quality. The city has a number of public and private hospitals, clinics, and medical centers that offer a range of services, including general medical care, emergency services, and specialized treatments. Many of these facilities are well-equipped and staffed with experienced professionals. Additionally, there are a number of pharmacies and health stores in the city that provide access to a variety of medications and health products," mentioned another expat when asked about moving to Lima, Peru.
"I live 2 blocks from a famous clinic and pay about $85.00 a month for a family of 3. A major health policy with a multi-national insurer would probably be under $2,000 per year," commented one expat who made the move to Lima, Peru.
