Include a lightweight rain jacket or umbrella for the occasional rain shower. Don't forget to pack essential toiletries, such as toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Bring any necessary prescription medications, as well as a basic first aid kit with band-aids, pain relievers, and any over-the-counter medications you may need. It's also a good idea to pack insect repellent and sunscreen to protect yourself from mosquitoes and the sun. Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated, as well as a reusable shopping bag for trips to local markets.
