This could range from a single room in a shared apartment to a full house, depending on your needs and financial situation. Next, start your search online. Websites like ImmobilienScout24, WG-Gesucht, and Immowelt are popular platforms for finding housing in Germany. These sites allow you to filter by price, location, size, and other features. You can also look at local newspapers and bulletin boards in supermarkets or universities for housing ads. If you're moving to Potsdam for work or study, check if your employer or university offers any assistance with finding housing. Some institutions have partnerships with local landlords or housing agencies and can help you secure a place to live. Consider hiring a real estate agent to help with your search. While this will incur additional costs, an agent can save you time and stress by finding properties that meet your criteria and arranging viewings on your behalf. They can also help with the application process and negotiating the lease. Once you've found a potential place, arrange a viewing to inspect the property.
