English is not the primary language spoken in Tokyo, so you may need to learn some basic Japanese. As a foreigner, you will need to obtain a visa in order to stay in Japan. Make sure to research the visa requirements thoroughly so that you can fulfill all necessary paperwork before moving. Additionally, be sure to check out the culture before arriving as well as the living customs in Tokyo to best prepare you for the move.
