It is important to ensure that all necessary documents, such as visas and residence permits, are in order before retiring in Uganda. 5. Expats should also consider the availability of banking and financial services in the area they plan to retire in. 6. It is important to research the climate and weather patterns in the area they plan to retire in, as this may affect their lifestyle. 7. Expats should also consider the availability of leisure activities and entertainment options in the area they plan to retire in. 8. It is important to research the local transportation options, such as public transportation, taxis, and car rental services, before retiring in Uganda," said a member in Uganda.
