What have your experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system been like?
When we asked expats and global nomads in Jordan about their experiences during the pandemic with the local healthcare system, they replied...
"The pandemic has had a significant impact on the healthcare system in Jordan. The government has implemented strict measures to contain the spread of the virus, including the closure of schools, universities, and public places. Hospitals have been overwhelmed with patients, leading to long wait times and limited access to medical care. The government has also implemented a nationwide curfew and a ban on public gatherings, which has further limited access to healthcare services. Despite these challenges, the government has taken steps to ensure that the healthcare system remains functional, including providing additional funding for hospitals and medical staff, and increasing the number of beds available for COVID-19 patients," remarked another expat in Jordan.
