Are foreigners allowed to own property in Bosnia & Herzegovina?

Answer this Question

When we asked expats in Bosnia & Herzegovina if foreigners are allowed to own property, they answered...

"Yes, foreigners are allowed to own property in Bosnia & Herzegovina. The country has a liberal foreign investment policy, and foreign nationals are allowed to purchase real estate in the country. However, they must obtain a permit from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to do so. Additionally, foreign investors must register their property with the local municipality in order to obtain a title deed," remarked another expat in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
