The cost of living in Florida is relatively low, with many mid-westerners relocating to the state to experience a higher quality of life. The state has plenty of job opportunities, with the Information Technology, Aerospace, Tourism and Healthcare industries particularly strong. There are plenty of recreational activities available to suit any taste, with plenty of parks and other outdoor attractions to enjoy. Florida also offers a low tax rate with no income tax and reasonable property taxes, making it a great place to live and invest," wrote a member who made the move to Florida.
