"Maryland offers newcomers a variety of attractions, including its proximity to Washington, D.C., beaches, forests and mountains, as well as cultural and artistic attractions such as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Walters Art Museum. Additionally, Maryland boasts an excellent educational system, with top-rated public schools, universities, and community colleges. Economic opportunities abound in the form of government agencies and private sector organizations.
