visit to belize

hey guys, we are planning a trip to belize in either nov or dec..looking at flying into cancun and busing down.. seems like a much less expensive route. so would start our belize experience in corozal.. can anyone tell me anything about the city..also with the qrp, i have seen a coupl eof different writings on this, i have seen where it requires an income source, then some say it must be retirement, pension , etc.. do we have a definitive idea.. look forward tohearing back thanks bill
