Belize vs Mexico

I have a good friend that is contimpleting retiring in Mexico. I am retiring in Belize in the next year or so. Been vacationing there for 20 years. I pretty well have the pros and cons of QRP vs Permanent Resident programs. I am taking down lots of personal items and a new vehicle. QRP is what fits me. I know Mexico has rules about working, owning property, income requirements, free custom fees etc. I can't seem to find the details I need to explain it to my friend. If anyone has the details I would love to get them .either give me the details or contact thru personal message here. Thanks. Ron
