Belize Vacation

Looking at a 2 week vacation in Belize in February 2018. Considering a 1 week stay at Cahal Tech Village Resort in San Ingancio to use as a basecamp. Explore a bit on that area for 6 days & a potential day trip to Guatemala. Second week, turn in the car & head to Caye Caulker for a couple of days then finish up in Ambergris Caye for the remainder of the trip. Thoughts on Cahal Pech Village as a place to stay? Driving conditions in that region? Travel warnings? General advice? TIA!
