QRP is just a money maker for the government and doesnt give you much advantages. Other than a furniture move play. first off it costs money and thats why the government pushes it, It is a headache in dealing with government drones. You cannot work or volunteer, and also you cannot rent out or Airbnb your house. If you live in a small town the government knows your whole financial statement, and you can expect a corrupt(and Belize is very very corrupt) politician or police to come by looking for a little handout for his election campaign or the police to keep your place safe, and put extra patrols etc. Its all just a shakedown to milk money out of you. Never, Never, let ANY Belizean officials know your financial status. As it will be exploited.
