Hi, my name is Bernice. I'm moving my family to Belize from Louisiana, USA. My husband and mom are both retired. I am still considering it. I am a teacher and interpreter for the Deaf. I'm hoping to work with the Academy for the Deaf in Belize City. My two sons are coming with us. They are adults with special needs. I am interested in knowing what areas in Belize City are safe and what areas to avoid. Any suggestions would be helpful.
