Moving to Beijing with an infant

Hello,

There is a chance that my company would like to send me to Beijing for about 3 - 6 months starting in January. At that time, my baby will be about 6 months old. I would like to take her with me but I am concerned about the general living conditions. I am concerned about sanitation issues and whether there are good local pediatricians.

As for living arrangements, would it make sense to rent an apartment or just stay in a hotel?

Any advice you could provide would be much appreciated!
