Housing In Shenzhen

Is there anyone out there who can offer some insights on the housing location recommendatioins in Shenzhen? I was hoping that there is at least one expat who is familiar with Shenzhen since it is supposed ot be the biggest expat assignment area in China.

I am considering a position in Shenzhen. The office is on the northside of the city.

I am looking for an approximately 1,600 - 1,800 SF apartment in a nice exclusive expat housing complex.

Anyone who have been there can make a recommendation? We saw pictures on internet of The Peninsula, Rose Garden (?).
