Hi, everyone! My name is Austin and I used to be an expat overseas in China and I miss the adventures, the international camaraderie and that lifestyle. I’ve travelled throughout Asia to countries such as Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong/Macau. Given the current situation with the pandemic, I’m stuck in the Midwest finishing up my degree in International Studies at university and feeling kind of lonely. So I’m looking for new friends who would enjoy talking about their adventures around the world and discussing the crazy world we live in. I love interacting with people who have different outlooks on the world and learning from their outlooks. I speak Spanish to a moderate level and I’d enjoy practicing the language with someone, as well. Because of my experiences traveling throughout Asia and living in China, I’d be more than happy to help you with travel advice and explain some of the situations that may occur.
