Hi everyone, I'm looking for a move to Equador around the first of the year but I have some questions that I can't seem to find an answer for. Does anyone know what the laws are regarding the immigration of a class e felon (lowest class) who's sentence was commuted to serving probation? My son has this issue. Are there any restrictions like there are in Canada preventing it or visitation when he is off probation?
Also, I am looking to build a ferro cement structure similar to a monolithic dome home but I can't seem to find out as to whether or not there is availability of building materials necessary, i.e.rebar, shotcrete, gravel, plumbing components etc. I assume so in the larger cities. Do they have home depot type stores there? Is there anything like that in Bahia de caraquez? What should I ship down? Which is the cheapest port..Manta?
