Beach Rentals with pets

Hi All,
I'm looking to find a place to rent on the coast over the Christmas time frame to get out of Quito with my husband. Dates are flexible. We want to bring our chocolate lab mix. Anyone have any suggestions of places? Prefer something quiet, relaxing, near a great swimmable beach, preferably near something to do, but not in the center of town.
All suggestions and tips are welcome!!
