2015 Internet in Cuena

Hello everyone,
I am new here. My family and I are thinking about moving to Ecuador (along with the rest of the world it seems). My wife would continue working for an American company from our new place in Cuenca. It is absolutely vital to have high speed internet that is totally reliable because she has a virtual position where she meets via video and phone with her clients. Can anyone update me on the internet situation in Cuenca? Thank you so much!
