I am looking to retire slightly early. I am 60 and looking for a retirement location outside the US. I have been focusing on Cuenca. But here is the thing. The last time I took Spanish was high school, so starting from scratch. I am starting to using Rosetta stone and am trying to learn some basics. I have done some research, but getting some conflicting information. Trying to find out if it's possible to learn Spanish after moving there. I've done the research on the financial part, but concerned on if I need to be at least simi-fluent in Spanish before moving there. I was planning to taking Spanish there. It's hard to pick up a language(At least for me), without actually dialoging and no one here to do that.
