Language Challenged

Ecuador is where I would like to settle however, I am language challenged. My Spanish is "poquito" although I am working on it. It is easier for me to gain some semblance of fluency through immersion versus a classroom setting; I did just that when I traveled in Italy. My question is this: Is there any club, group or organization that assists newcomers upon arrival so they can get their feet on the ground and get up and running? If yes, I want to thank you in advance for providing that information.
