Money TRansfer Issue

I would like to invest some money here in Ecuador. I live here, my money is at a bank in the US. I am trying to transfer a low 6-digit amount to Banco Pichincha. My bank tells me that an international money transfer can only be done if they can send a code to my US cellphone, which I don't have. I have a voiceover IP number, which they don't allow. I don't feel like flying to the north of the US just for a wire transfer.
If you've done this before - how?
