I am moving to the coast in Manabi province in June 2025. I have family who relocated in 2020 and am building a home. I visited in the summer and met with two builders who provided plans and costs. The first is the builder who did my brother's home. I love the plans, but the costs is so much higher than the builder who can do a manufactured home. Has anyone build and used a manufactured home rather than a traditional contractor. If I can get the same things, I would rather pay less and save money, but the two plans are very different - and I love the plans of the traditional builder. I'm struggling to make a sound decision that is best for me.
