Using Digital Membership Cards for Everyday Life in Ecuador

Hi everyone,

While adjusting to life in Ecuador, I recently switched to a digital membership card that I got through MembershipAnywhere. I wanted something simple that I could keep on my phone instead of carrying a physical card everywhere.

So far, it’s been quite convenient—especially for community groups and memberships where quick access is helpful. Having all the details stored digitally makes it easier to manage, and it feels practical when you’re moving around or meeting new people here.

I’m interested to know if others living in Ecuador are using digital membership cards as well. Are local clubs, gyms, or organizations open to digital cards, or do they still prefer physical ones?

Looking forward to hearing your experiences.
