Has anyone out there been to Greece often? The last time I've been to Greece was in 1994. My grandfather has left me some land out there and I've really been thinking about moving there. I really like it there but I'm not sure what it would be like to actually live and work there. The last time I went there I noticed that some people didn't like me when they found out that I was from the U.S. Even some of my relatives who I havn't seen since the last time before that didn't seem to be too friendly towards me. I was wondering if it's because I grew up in the U.S. or if it's just me that they don't like. Before I make the final decision to move out there, I would really like to figure this out. Does anyone out there know if there is some kind of resentment towards Greek Americans by native Greeks. If so, if someone out there who knows why can tell me I would really like to hear from you. If for some reason it's just me and someone out there may think they know what I did wrong (for example: attitude) I would like to hear from you also. I'm looking forward to some feedback on this because I am seriously thinking of moving there, and in spite of the people with an attitude problem who didn't seem to like me, I did make some friends out there the last time I was there. Looking forward to your response.
