It's for my daughter

My daughter just married a Honduran man and she is expecting his baby. She has already begun her process of moving down there from Texas. She will be living in Corozal, near La Ceiba. I will be in La Ceiba for most of June while my new grandson arrives in the world. While I am there I would like to help here connect with other expats. Unlike me, she has never lived abroad and is not prepared for the difficult transition that awaits her in a new country, new husband, and new baby. How do the expats in the La Ceiba area connect with one another? Is there an active community I can network with?
