Hotel recommendations

Hi!
We're a retired couple on our 3rd visit to Lucca (my grandparents were from Tofori) and would like recommendations for hotels outside of Lucca's wall, but within a km. We want to look at apartments to help decide if we can move there for a few years. We're looking for mid-priced hotel ($150 - $200 USD) for four nights in early May. It's also our 49th wedding anniversary..
I'm grateful for any advice and/or recommendations.
