After a 2 week stay in June 2004 in the Lake Chapala area, I have decided to move Lake Chapala retiring as an Expat from the U.S. by June 2004. (: Being a single healthy Vegan man of 70+ years, my extensive research for Medical Ins has been very disappointing with NO company offering Medical Ins in Mexico if your over 70 years old.
I understood that Mexico has good health services, however how can I get medical care until I can become a Temporary Resident in Lake Chapala? What are my choices to get cared for without Medical Insurance? Are there any plans that are available for Expats without the 70+ barriers?
Any help and advice would be gratefully appreciated.
