I am considering Acapulco as my destination in Mexico. I have been trying to get info on bi-yearly or yearly rentals but am coming up short. Does anyone here live in Acapulco and can you explain to me the best way to find a modest house or apartment to rent. My Internet searches have yielded several sites but they are almost exclusively focused on nightly rentals of vacation accommodations. The websites for Trovit and Inmuebles function poorly and no one ever answers my queries. What am I doing wrong? Is it the case that my efforts are best spent by a "boots on the ground" approach? Looking for suggestions as I will be flying in within the next few days. Thanks for your help!
