Moving back to USA

Are there any ex-expats still reading the forum? I'm ready to return to the USA and would like to know if you had any issues getting the proceeds from a house sale back to an American bank and advice on how to bring my household goods (menaje) back across the border. Also if anyone has exported their vehicle from Mexico to the USA how was the experience and what was the cost?
