Hi,
I'm a SWF moving to Manila to work at ISM this summer. I've heard a lot of conflicting information about both living in the Philippines, and being a single women living in the Philippines. I've just come from 4 years in Korea, so I'm used to there not being a lot of other single women around, but had heard that Manila can still be a great place even if you're not a couple, lots to do. I've been a little confused by the differing reports about safety. Some say it's no more dangerous than any other big city, and some say the entire country should be avoided. I'd appreciate any advice /help /information. I'm looking forward to a new adventure, and just want some facts from people who have lived there and would know. I hope someone out there has some straight answers to help me as I prepare to move. Thanks Cat
