Jobs for mechanical engineers

I have been on this forum for a while, but never see much in the way of info about finding reasonable jobs for westerners in Phils. I have a house & small farm in Nueva Ecija but need to supplement my farm income with some other form of employment. By trade I am an aircraft tech/sheetmetal worker,specialist stainless steel welder but have a teaching degree in further education, teaching engineering in a UK Technical College. Right now I am a Production Planner in a busy engineering company.
What or where can i find the best oppertunities for my skills? Other than trying to find work in Singapore, which is also very difficult, I am finding few openings.
Any advice anyone? any links or any expats needing someone like me?
