Hi:
My wife and I are looking for a place to start up our own homestead (farm). We are looking for inexpensive land, taxes, no building codes, trees for building material, and good soil.
We've been considering Canada around the Cochran area. The land is inexpensive and I like the idea of having Crown Land around my property. We are open to other areas if they will meet our needs. Any suggestions or information on living in either Canada or the Cochran area would be helpful.
