Hi all! I just joined the Expat Exchange. I'm so envious of you guys who are living the dream there.
I'm currently in Los Angeles with my new wife Jocelyn and our baby but counting the days til we can go back to the Phils.
I lived/worked in Cebu and Davao (total of 3 years). traveled to Negros, Leyte, Siquijor. I know a little Tagalog and Cebuano.
I'm 48 years young. I am looking to move back to the Philippines but I don't want to wait for retirement.
I see there are many others out there looking for business ideas, opportunities and advice.
I have an idea!
I am a professional graphic designer and am very fortunate that my type of work can be done with a laptop and internet connection.
because my clients are in the US, Australia, Europe there are many benefits to this type of business in the Ph (you make US dollars while living in Ph, no need for local partners etc)
while i was there I made some great contacts and new clients.
I don't have the patience to wait til i retire. I want to move down there and set up shop asap.
So I am looking for other likeminded individuals who are interested in moving to the philippines or starting a business that could offer you residual income for many years to come.
I would prefer one or two individuals who have complimentary skills (management, finance, sales, programming, marketing etc) but its not necessary.
I don't want to get a ton of spam so you can contact me thru this message board or interested parties can hunt me down (just google creativeblox and you'll see my work and clients).
lets chat and see if we can come up with a plan!
