moving to Philippines

I have read lots of info on this site and other about what a quality life is possible in the Philippines but never any specific info. I'm coming to Cebu in 2 weeks and looking for a one bedroom condo/apartment furnished with security, WiFi, TV with cable and pool (if no pool then near a fitness center with pool/jacuzzi)
I'm looking for one month and looking to keep the cost under 20,000 pesos. If I like it there I will look for long term living solution. Any and all specific advice would be well received.
